Dual Degrees - Boston College. Enrolling in a dual degree program can be a great way to combine two areas of interest and expand your career opportunities. Most programs also shorten the overall timeline to obtain your degrees. Boston College Law School offers many dual degree options in different subjects, some with other Boston College graduate schools and programs, and two (JD/MA, JD/MPH) in partnership with Tufts University. We also have a JD/LLM program in partnership with the Sorbonne Law School of the Universit.
A student must apply to both schools and admission decisions are made independently. JD/MBABoston College Law School and the Carroll School of Management at Boston College offer a combined JD/MBA program for the lawyer who also wishes to be trained as a business professional. JD/MSWBoston College Law School and the Boston College School of Social Work offer a program leading to both Juris Doctor and Master of Social Work degrees in four rather than the usual five years.

If you are admitted to both the JD program and graduate program, you would enroll your first year at the Washington College of Law. Your second and third years would be a combination of law and graduate coursework. You would complete your law school coursework by three years and the remaining 1 to 2 semesters would be graduate coursework. A dual program takes 3.
